Bio
Allison serves as one of the graduate assistants for the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program. As a first-generation college graduate and proud MFOS Alumna, she holds a strong affinity for helping first-generation students during their transition to higher education. Allison graduated from the University of Florida in 2021, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Disabilities in Society.
During her undergraduate years, she served as a peer and lead mentor for the MFOS program. Currently, she is working on getting her Master’s in Health Administration at the University of Florida. For the future, she hopes to put the skills learned in a setting that serves underserved and immigrant communities with the hope of increasing access to healthcare and improving already existing services.
