Partnering with the Department of Family, Youth, and Community Sciences and the Student Financial Affairs office, MFOS first-year students attend two financial literacy workshops over the course of their first academic year at UF. The fall workshop focuses on budgeting and making smart credit card decisions, while the spring workshop provides students with the necessary instructions about renewing their financial aid.
The fall workshops are split into 3 options. You only need to attend one date.
Please select a date that works for your schedule. Be sure to register for only one date, as you will dropped from all registration if you sign up for a multiple dates. If you miss the date you signed up for, you will not be able to attend another session. You will need to complete the alternate essay assignment listed below the date sign ups.
Complete a 2500 word essay in Word, using APA format, on the topic- Establishing and Building Credit & Identity Theft Prevention & Their Effects On Your Future.
