The purpose of this partnered offering is to enable UF students with access to FREE, high-quality tutoring provided by a fellow peer vetted by the campus. Sessions can take place online, in-person, one-on-one or in a group setting. The peer-to-peer nature enables greater connectivity amongst Gators in a comfortable environment that focuses on bolstering academic achievement to ultimately advance student success.
Information about Knack
Knack was founded on UF’s campus at Bryan Hall in 2015 via the Gator Hatchery program. The founders won UF’s Big Idea Business Plan Competition in 2016 and have since gone on to partner with dozens of colleges and universities across the country — helping them advance student success for their students, by their students.

Interested in being Tutor?
Through the UF-Knack partnership, students have the opportunity to earn $12/hour to tutor in courses where they have earned an A- or higher. After logging in with your GatorLink at ufl.joinknack.com, students who meet the stated tutor pre-qualifications can apply to become a verified UF peer tutor on Knack.
