All incoming first-year MFOS students are required to complete the First-Year Florida course and pass with a C or better. The First-Year Florida curriculum connects students to campus resources and provides a small class environment in which they receive individual contact with the instructors. Additionally, students learn about time management, personal strengths, involvement opportunities, and career planning strategies.
Scholars may elect to take one of the MFOS sections or any of the other SLS1102 sections. Scholars who are also in the UF Honors Program may substitute IDH1700 for this requirement.
