Planning in Action for Transitions:

• Complete required semester expectations: All requirements information is available on your Cohort Canvas Page
  • Fall Semester:
    • Professional Development: Immersive Experience
    • Attend cohort check-in group meeting with an MFOS staff member
    • Life Plan Creation
  • Spring Semester:
    • Financial Literacy: Financial Planning Series
    • Final Life Plan Submission

**Note Innovation Academy Students will complete financial literacy and professional development workshops in the Spring .

Additional Annual Requirements needed to renew

• 24 credit hours earned annually
• 0 or higher cumulative GPA
• Meeting academic progress requirements for financial aid
• Family income remains under MFOS threshold as verified by annual FAFSA updates and possible Financial Aid verification
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov.
  • To receive the best financial aid offer, complete the FAFSA as early as possible.

SUGGESTED:

• Get involved with undergraduate research
• Start preparing for graduate and professional school exams like the GRE, LSAT, MCAT
• Consider applying to be an MFOS Peer Mentor
• Get involved in the Gainesville community, if you haven’t already. Consider doing service or even a Florida Alternative Break trip (FAB)
