On Thursday May 7th, the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program hosted a virtual MFOS Alumni Gathering. The event was a great way for alumni from various cohort years to meet and interact with one another during these times. Alumni were based in locations as far away as Houston to right here in Gainesville. Some alumni were from the very first year of the program, 2006, while some graduated just last weekend. The event allowed for older alumni to reconnect with the program and share updates while continuing to offer guidance and support for younger alumni.
